St George's Minster
The wealth of the town was built on weaving and cloth manufacturing and the trading guilds were at the forefront of efforts to extend the privileges of power to the guilds and merchants. Shortly after 9 a.m., Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms in south Orange County, and minor flooding expected to begin in Irvine, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Dana Point and Laguna Niguel. In Pomona, the Police Department reported flooding at the underpass at First Street, with several streets in the area either closed or affected by flooding, including South Reservoir Street, South Towne Avenue, East End Street, Garey Avenue and White Avenue. During the closures, there will be a marked detour for interstate traffic utilizing County Home Road, Highway 13 and Highway 100. Officials also say employees at each store are being reassigned to other locations. The minster became popular with pilgrims in later centuries because of the highly-decorated altars inside the church.
SAN ANTONIO – A major crash on SW Loop 410 and US Highway 90 West has led to road closures in both directions, according to San Antonio police. Dinkelsbühl stood at the junction of two very important trade routes - the north-south Germany-Italy route and the route from the Rhine towns through to Eastern Europe. The Angeles National Forest said slick conditions due to rain or snow could prompt road closures in the forest. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works reported that Lake Hughes Road, between Pine Canyon and Dry Gulch roads in Lake Hughes, was closed due to mud and debris on the roadway. The agency asked the public to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

It is also historically related to the feasts and excursions enjoyed by Catholic and Protestant schoolchildren at the end of the school year in the Middle Ages. The town became an Imperial free city and started work on the fortifications which still surround the historic centre in the 13th century. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power tweeted at that crews were working to restore power to affected customers in Hollywood, Highland Park and Playa del Rey, as quickly as possible, while working in challenging conditions. During both World War I and II, Dinkelsbuhl was spared from damage because its importance had faded before the industrial age and was fortunately far from major transportation routes.
Steady rain was falling across Southern California on Sunday, with minor flooding, mud and debris flows closing some roads. By Sunday morning, 4.73 inches of rain had fallen at Stunt Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains. The snow level remained high through Sunday morning, but could drop later in the day to as low as 3,000 feet, meaning "snow could accumulate on portions of I-5 near the Grapevine. This could cause major travel disruptions at the end of the weekend," according to the Weather Service.
